MY CHRISTMAS TABLE
Here is the second of three tables designed for the festivities...
My Christmas Table...
I know Christmas has already passed, but I do believe that this option could also be suitable for other events such as a birthday or even a winter wedding.
This year I decided to adopt these colours Blue and Gold for my entire Christmas; from the tree at home, to the greeting cards produced in collaboration with Gloria of Tuscan Lab, which I told you about in the previous article My Christmas Eve Table if you haven't read it yet click (here).
Why Blue and Gold?
This year I needed something different from traditional things, I wanted colours that would more solemnly enshrine a special year, which has been in many ways tragic but in others very 'educational'... So I chose Blue, being an aristocratic, important and elegant colour, andGold, which can never be missing on a festive table.
For My Christmas Table
I selected gold mirrored underplates to contrast with the Vista Alegre Transatlantica collection, I fell madly in love with these dishes, all taken from the Preludio rental service (here)I opted to include a Ginori straight from my larder as an underplate, and cutlery and glasses also from Preludio's collection.
The gold in the centre of the table is a creation of FlowersLiving a beautiful festoon made entirely of laurel branches painted in gold, you can't imagine the scent the table gave off... The candles I chose were petrol blue, so as to create an intimate and elegant atmosphere...
What do you think?
Let me know what event you would do with this board...
